TERMS OF SALE
Please read the description of each item listed carefully. Here at The Opal Miner, we strive for honesty and transparency and will include notes regarding the condition of each item in the item’s description. Please note that each item is inspected twice before being listed, but we are humans, and we ask you to provide us with grace if we make a small error.
The Opal Miner insures each purchase during the shipping period until it is delivered to you. For all deliveries, we require a signature. At this point, the responsibility for your purchased items is passed to you. If you are sending the item to someone else, the person who signs for the package confirms receipt and is accountable for the package.
Please review our Returns & Refunds, as well as our Shipping Policy to ensure understanding of purchase prior to checking out.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
We understand that sometimes things don’t work out, and that’s ok! If you would like to return an item for a refund, your return request must be made to Jenelle@theopalminerreno.com within 14 days of the item being delivered (including the delivery day). Additionally, all tags must be attached to the item, as well as the original undamaged gift packaging. Items must be in the same condition as received in order to qualify for a return and refund. We are unable to accept LATE RETURNS beyond the 14 day return period. Anything sent to us after the 14 days may be returned to you and no refund will be provided.
Please note: A 10% restocking fee will be charged for any refunds.
Return shipping costs are not covered by The Opal Miner, so we suggest using your local post office for the best service and tracking information so that you can follow your return. Please remember that you need to send your return back to us within 14 days of receipt, and that we don’t take any responsibility for lost packages during their return shipping back to us.
Some items are not eligible for a return or a refund but know that we would make sure that this is clearly stated upon purchase.
Payments will be credited back to the original purchaser’s credit card. Refunds are processed within 2-3 working days of receiving the item. Card refunds may take up to 10 business days for your bank to complete depending upon their processing time. This can vary between banks, so please speak to your bank for any more information regarding processing times as we are completely unable to change this.
EXCHANGES
Due to the custom nature of the majority of the items that we carry, we are not able to offer exchanges. If you would like some assistance for jewelry fitting and repair in your area, just let us know and we can try to help you out with that.
SHIPPING
The Opal Miner insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it’s delivered to you. For all deliveries, we require a signature. At this point, responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you.
Sending the item to someone else? If you got your item(s) from The Opal Miner as a gift or something similar, the person who signs for the package confirms receipt and is accountable for the package.
All our deliveries are handled by USPS, FedEx or UPS. Reliability is key and that’s why we always choose a signed-for delivery service.
Unfortunately we can’t offer a choice for delivery provider, we select the best option depending on shipping region. Please make sure you or someone you know will be present either at a home or work address to accept your delivery. If no-one is in, we’ll make sure to leave a card so that a re-delivery can be arranged, or you can collect from the depot.
Please don’t refuse a delivery. Unfortunately refused deliveries will incur a cost of the original delivery plus the return cost. Any refund made will be minus the total delivery and return cost in the case of refused deliveries.
Please note, we do not take any responsibility for delivery to shipping companies or freight forwarders, this will be at your own risk.
